Every year, we bring diverse groups of Arizona high school students together for a five-day residential learning experience. Through interactive workshops, simulations and discussions, participants explore topics like prejudice, discrimination and bias.
Anytown intentionally brings together teens with different beliefs and backgrounds to learn respectful, effective ways to talk about difficult topics, including racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, classism, ableism and more.
Teens leave camp equipped to foster inclusion and respect in their schools and communities.

Days at camp run from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and are full of learning, connection and fun.
Workshops
Hands-on activities and conversations led by experienced staff on identity, bias and leadership.
Culture Night
A highlight of the week, celebrating our diverse backgrounds through music, dance, clothing and tradition.
Morning Sing
Uplifting, fun songs that bring the whole community together to start each day.
Community Circle
Each cabin leads a short skit, song or presentation that builds cabin camaraderie.
Talent Night
Instruments, poetry, magic tricks and more: a night to celebrate the talented #PeopleofAnytown.
Opportunity Time
A chance to meet new people and try something new, from games and sports to music and hiking.
No teen should miss Anytown because of cost.
Registration fee
$550It costs Anytown $919 to send one delegate to camp for the week. Transportation, meals, lodging, swag and the staff who run the program are all included.
We ask families to cover a minimum of $550. Through grants, fundraising and donor support, we cover the rest. If you’re able to give more than the minimum, every dollar goes directly toward the true cost of camp.
Financial assistance
As little as $25We work hard to make sure Anytown includes delegates from every background, including every economic background. Please don’t let cost keep your teen from applying. We’ll work with your family to cover what you can’t.
Students who qualify for financial assistance pay just a $25 registration fee.

Who qualifies
Assistance is limited and reviewed case by case, in the order requests are received. We prioritize families whose household income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty line. Please request only what you truly need so we can help as many families as possible.
Proof of household income
We accept any one of the following:
- Recent pay stubs from the last two months
- Your most recent W-2 or tax return
- A letter verifying unemployment
- A letter verifying assistance from Social Services
- A letter verifying your student receives free or reduced lunch
- A current AHCCCS card
Every family who applies will hear back from us about whether their request was approved.

Safety comes first
Every part of camp is designed so delegates feel emotionally, socially and physically supported.
Trained staff
Every volunteer completes an application, interview, training and a yearly background check.
Care on site
Medical and mental health staff are at camp all week long.
Close supervision
Constant supervision and a low staff-to-delegate ratio.
Never one-on-one
A staff member is never alone one-on-one with a delegate.
Cabin options
Gender-inclusive and single-gender cabins are available.
Ready for anything
Clear emergency procedures, and families are contacted right away if anything comes up.
Before camp
A phone-free week
Phones and electronics are collected at the start of camp and returned before the bus ride home, so delegates can fully connect.
Notes from home
Bring letters or a small care package to bus drop-off, and our staff will hand them out during the week.
Bus included
Round-trip charter bus transportation is included, and Anytown staff ride along with delegates.
Sent privately
For the safety of our delegates, the camp location and bus drop-off details are emailed to families after registration.
Tell us early
Share medications, allergies and any health needs at registration. Our camp nurse collects all medication when delegates arrive at camp.
