Why join

Help take Anytown to the next level

For nearly 70 years, Anytown has brought together young people from different backgrounds, communities and perspectives to talk openly, listen to experiences different from their own and lead with empathy and respect.

Our roots run deep. Anytown grew out of a national movement of leaders from different faiths who refused to be bystanders in the face of hate, and when Anytown closed its doors in Arizona, our own alumni brought it back. We believe honest, open dialogue is the cornerstone of a just society.

We’re relaunching our Board of Directors, which means you’ll have a real hand in shaping it from the ground up. Anytown is in a season of growth and transformation, with new initiatives on the horizon and a goal of reaching more young people through camp and school programs. We need energetic, visionary board members who bring an equity and racial justice lens to everything we do, and who want to help guide Anytown toward a strong, sustainable future.
