Meet Amani
For most of her first week at Anytown, Amani didn’t raise her hand. She was a quiet high school freshman who was nervous about speaking up and taking up space.
Then, during a session about identity, something shifted. Amani began to understand that she didn’t have to make herself smaller to belong. By the end of the week, she had found her voice and become one of our standout delegates.
That confidence stayed with her. Amani has returned to serve on Anytown’s staff two years in a row, and earlier this year she stood in front of hundreds of people at the Outstanding Phoenix Youth Leader Luncheon to present scholarships on behalf of Anytown.

It costs about $47,500 to put on one week of camp.
