Stephanie Morales (She/Her)
Board Chair
Stephanie is a trauma informed social worker and leadership coach. She is currently the Program Director of Persevere, a nonprofit that teaches a 12 month coding bootcamp inside of state prisons, helps identify tech jobs and provides it’s participants with all of their social, emotional, mental and physical reentry needs after release.
In addition to her full time gig, she has a private practice where she works with clients in a variety of ways to disrupt personal patterns of dysfunction and create lives that feel more embodied and authentic.
Stephanie is a native New Mexican and has called Arizona home for 12 years. Minus the weather she loves the desert and the community she does life with! While she is incredibly proud of the work she does around decarceration and as a trauma informed services provider, she is most proud of her role as a mother, sister, friend, partner, community member, ritual lover and champion of expansion. One common thread she feels is woven throughout her interactions with folks of all ages is a deep desire to feel better, feel deeply connected to others and to belong. She believes in the power of well-timed questions asked within supportive spaces.
As a repeat Anytown Camp Advisor since 2017, Stephanie knows the power that the camp and program have to be the catalyst for challenging conversations that can truly change lives, families and communities.
