Heather Checky is a relationship-builder and social impact advocate! A captivating facilitator, Heather has spent 10 years providing professional training and ongoing development to adult educators, including administrators, teachers, and paraprofessionals.
A former Playworks National Trainer, she has worked with over 100 schools, and organizations and has developed a deep understanding of the educational system and the systemic barriers that make teaching challenging. Heather can empathize, educate and maintain participant rapport & engagement while supporting participants in applying skills and knowledge into meaningful action.
Heather also serves as the Financial Officer & Co-Founder of Inclusion Counts. She has a strong commitment to helping people begin their journey in understanding social justice. Heather takes pride in fostering and maintaining relationships with external clients and partners and in developing meaningful and relatable DEIB curriculum for youth and adult learners.
