Amanda Delphy (She/Her)
Camp Director
Amanda Delphy is the director of West Valley Treasures 4 Teachers, a non-profit organization here in the valley with the goal to provide low cost materials to educators in Arizona. She recently transitioned out of the classroom after four years and now dedicates her time to helping educate educators on how Treasures 4 Teachers can support them in providing high quality education. Her position as West Valley Director allows her to work with community stakeholders, visit schools to connect with educators across the valley, and be a voice in the organization for teachers.
As Amanda has transitioned into this new chapter of her life her main areas of passion remain the same. She takes pride in the Female, Indigenous representation that she brings into all spaces she is in and hopes to make Indigenous youth feel inspired. She also is a strong advocate for representational education meaning that Brown and Black youth should be able to feel empowered through the literature and content being taught in their classrooms. Even being out of the classroom, continues to work towards this mission.
Amanda attended her high school’s Unitown program (Panthertown) in 2012 as a delegate and then returned the following years as counselor. She was a part of the 2014 Anytown delegate when camp returned after being put on pause. Since then Amanda has attended Anytown as a counselor, advisor, and was one of the directors for Anytown 2023. She not only is a product of the town program itself but truly believes in the mission of Anytown and believes that a perfect world would be a world where everyone got to experience Anytown.
