Jorge
(He/Him)
President, Grand Canyon University
Hello, my name is Jorge, and I am currently a first-year college student. Anytown was such a life changing experience for me. I never knew how to express myself until Anytown; the community I was met with and the family I built is unforgettable. I have never felt more loved and accepted. In my time at Anytown, I was educated on social justice topics and started my journey in my part of making the world a more accepting, peaceful, and loving place. In my role as President of the Youth Council, I hope to impact others as people have impacted my life and to welcome others to Anytown in order to make the world a place without hate.
Abby
(He/Him)
Secretary, Sunnyslope High School
Hi, I’m Abby and I’m a sophomore in high school. Anytown changed my life and opened my eyes to other people’s experiences and showed me that I’m not alone in my own experiences. I joined the Anytown Youth Council because I wanted to make a difference and help others see that they are not alone.

Marty
(She/Her)
Historian, Maryvale High School
Hi, I’m Marty, and I’m a sophomore in high school. I truly enjoyed my time at Anytown this summer. I went in there not really knowing where I belonged and left with a sense of security in who I was. I want the Youth Council to be able to implement a sense of diversity into the world and help everyone understand why equality and acceptance is so important. Anytown was an experience of a lifetime, one that everyone needs to experience so they can implement lifelong lessons into the world we live in today.

Jenna
(She/Her)
Council Member, Highland High School
Hi, I’m Jenna! I’m a senior at Highland High School right now. I joined the youth council to continue learning and growing in the same way I did at camp. Anytown Camp was such a meaningful experience, and the people I interacted with were wonderful and taught me so much, and I want to continue to work with them on bettering the world and ending hate in our society. I’m excited to continue spreading the Anytown Spirit!

Taylor
(She/They)
Council Member, Saguaro High School
Hi! My name is Taylor and I’m a junior at Saguaro High School. I attended Anytown in 2022 and am very excited to be a part of the Youth Council. Anytown helped me grow so much and introduced me to new people and opportunities that are incredibly important in my life now. I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to attend camp and grow into who I am today. With the AYC, I hope to help Anytown be the best program it can be and support the next campers in having the same amazing opportunities and experiences I did from Anytown.
Jordyn

Hi, I’m Jordyn and I’m a sophomore in high school. I attended Anytown in the summer of 2023 as a delegate. Going to the camp felt very surreal because it was such a special experience and such a safe one too. I’m so excited to be part of the Youth Council to then help the communities that surround us.
